Pirates > Pirate Rounders

Pirate Rounders

Background

Pirate Rounders, also known as the Red Sea Men were pirates who chose to venture beyond the typical spot of the West Indies and round the Cape of Good Hope in order to gain access to the even more valuable East Indies where the richest treasures lay. The largest prizes were taken by pirates in the Indian Ocean and the pirates who sailed back and forth across the Atlantic accomplished feats in and of themselves.

Mostly based out of their Locations on Madagascar, not all pirates decided to make the long and treacherous voyage that was required. However, those that did were greatly rewarded as the ships of the various East India Companies of the world provided an endless supply of vast wealth and riches to plunder.
